Xcatter is a data synthesis software application developed by Quantireal on our QuICK platform. It uses a novel computational physics based modeling and simulation technique to generate radiation imaging data. Data synthesized by Xcatter can be used to train and test machine-learned anomaly and threat detection algorithms as applied to radiation scans. Xcatter significantly reduces acquisition costs, provides precise annotation, and widens the range of geometric and material diversity in the data.
